Just bought 2004 S....have a question
I just bought a new to me 2004 S (couple of pics below). Love the car, but there is one thing...I've read through the manual, and suspect this is still gonna apply...
the key fob only opens the drivers door. I assume there's a way to make it open all the doors, but I can't find it. Can anyone help a pig newb out?
Love the car so far.
edit, never mind, I 'd better and found it. I figure it will take me a month to figure out all the stuff the car has and can do.

thanks...been lurking a while. Car is very nice...faster than I expected. Also, not sure how I lived without a heated steering wheel. Coming from an M3.....definitely different, but awesome so far.

they do indeed...I have the build info, and can check it out. I think they look good though...titan metallic gray I think.
ltc, you have any idea what these codes mean? I have the manual that shows all the option codes the car was made with, but of course I have no idea what means what.

Looks like you've got Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires... excellent tire. They will be good.

it's ridiculously clean. honestly, it's like it came out of the showroom. It almost still smells new. It was maintained by a pilot who was very, very particular. After I'd agreed to buy it, and while he was driving it, it threw a fault dealing with the transfer case control module. The local dealer couldn't find anything, told him it was just a communication fault. He made them look at it further against their wishes. They finally duplicated the fault, he had them overnight the part in, and fixed it. It's pristine. I couldn't be happier with the car. Changing the oil is gonna be a bit more of an afternoon according to what he told me about the 10 nuts to unscrew (against my last car, an m3), but I'll figure it out. Sheeeit, I'm like a giddy schoolgirl.

There are also online option codes lists as smell, but a VIN decoder is quicker.
You can also obtain a Certificate of Authenticity from PCNA, which will list the as built configuration, power train serial numbers, etc.
I thought I knew P!g history and I still don't remember those as beta year wheel option.
