what's "extended leather interior" mean? Dash and door panels?

I looked in the back....there is no collapsible spare in there...there is a can of tire seal that looks like it came with the car. Was there a spare tire delete option, or at some point did it get taken out and not put back?
I called the guy I bought it from, he said it was like that when he got it.

Still didn't run the VIN, but I'll do it when I get home.

How do you "run a VIN"? Is there a site that shows you the options for your car?

Thanks Kalyan!

I think I found the option:
I2PM Leather steering wheel for airbag system - 3 spoke steering wheel
I think cars with option don't have the indents in the top of the steering wheel.

Definitely my favorite option on the early P!gs. It was offered for all the wrong reasons, but it was still a nice to have IMHO.

As a couple others have noted...

Indents = no extended leather, heated wheel is optional
No Indents = extended leather, heated wheel is still optional

Bottom line - extended leather option is independent of heated wheel option

Here's another tidbit you may be interested in...

Early models with extended leather don't have the french stitching across the tops of the doors and dashboard but later models do have the stitching. I don't know what year this changed though. My '08 has the stitching...

I could be mistaken, but my understanding is that one battery is for starting the car only, the other is for everything else. I never figured out which is which though...

Maybe the cars with 2 batteries were hybrids. 1 to start the p!g and 2nd to run the p!g...
