I am REALLY excited now!!!...I think I may have found the right CTT that fits my budget...it is an '05 with all service records (even has the coolant pipes done). I am getting it setup for a Pre Purchase Inspection within the next couple days. Fingers crossed that all goes well

Check the transmission seal for any weeping. Mine had damage from a slight leak in the pipes and had to be replaced. Part is cheap $29 or so, labor is expensive ~2000 I think I paid to drop the engine and tranny and replace.

I suspect my starter is going from the same leak.

Yes, they're the coolant T-pipes behind the block by the firewall.

So it wasn't you, who sold a 241K-mile CTT to a buyer in the UK??? There are two of them out there??

I have a CTT 04 with 241k miles here in the UK...have only recently bought it,but, great car. Only ever serviced/looked after by the supplying dealer with whom i had a few chats with prior to making a considered purchase. All good, does not look/feel anything like the miles...glad i have not paid for all the fuel it has used doing the mileage though..

Sean,

We still have our Cayenne here in the states with 240,000 miles on it. I have no plans to sell it anytime soon.

Bigee12345,

Spending the coin on fuel is only part of the fun of driving the vehicle - I hope you plan to enjoy it!!

T2 - continues to knock on wood........
