Default WOOOHOO Workshop manuals, Codes & Parts for $15 & Durametric

Got them from xxx xxx xxx

Works perfect, I feel a little stupid for spending already $25 on the porsche website.

Also got me the durametric yesterday

Already solved :
P0348 : it wasn't the sensor but a wire loose in the connector.

Next up :
P1314
P1299
P0907

Fault code 1299
Gateway
Diagnostic conditions
• Ignition on
• Trailer hitch control module, internal function test
Possible causes of fault
♦ To localise the fault, read out the fault memory for the 'gateway
control module' (please read out fault memory)
♦ No message from gateway on CAN comfort (no signal/communication)
♦ Trailer hitch control module faulty
Affected pins
Trailer hitch control module, plug B:
♦ Pin 8 'CAN comfort (low)'
♦ Pin 7 'CAN comfort (high)'

Work instruction Display OK If not OK
1 Check fault memory in the trailer hitch control
module for further faults
Further faults present
 Correct the faults
 Step 2
2 Read out fault memory for gateway (fault localisation)
Further faults present
 Work through faults
 Step 3
3 Continue troubleshooting in the chapter
'Checking instructions/CAN data bus

Fault code 0907
Load management operation on vehicle electrical system/
DME control module
Diagnostic conditions
• Ignition on
• Internal control module function test
• Load management is coded
• Engine running
• Engine speed approx. 2000 1/min.
Possible causes of fault
♦ 'no display' Loads are/were switched off temporarily. The load
management operation was enabled because of undervoltage.
The DME control module receives the analogue signal from terminal
'DF' on the generator and sends the evaluated information to the
CAN drive. The vehicle electrical system control module determines
the situation of the vehicle electrical system based on the battery
voltage, the 'DF signal' received via the CAN comfort and the heavy current
loads with short operating time. A fault is detected and a
fault bit is set if the 'DF signal' falls below a defined value during a
critical vehicle electrical system state. If the fault bit remains set for
more than ten seconds, the fault 'Load management operation on
vehicle electrical system/DME control module' is stored in the fault
memory of the vehicle electrical system control module.

Affected pins
Plug 'A' on vehicle electrical system control module:
♦ Pin 1 'CAN comfort (high)'
♦ Pin 2 'CAN comfort (low)'

1 Check battery:

2 Check charge voltage/
current on
three-phase generator:
• Vehicle engine speed
approx. 2000 1/min.
11.4 - 14.4 V
 Step 3
Wiring/regulator or diodes
faulty.

3 Check DF line for
short circuit to B+:
♦ Switch off the ignition.
♦ Pull out plug 'A' on
SME control module.
♦ Pull out plug 'A' on
generator.
♦ Switch on ignition.
♦ Measure voltage in
SME control module
plug'A' 'Pin 28' to
ground.
< 0.3 V
 Step 4
Repair / replace wiring harness
→ End

4 Check DF line for
short circuit to
ground:
♦ Switch off the ignition.
♦ Measure resistance
in SME control module
plug 'A' 'Pin 28' to
ground.
∞ Ω
 Step 5
Repair / replace wiring harness
→ End

5 Check DF line for
open circuit:
♦ Measure resistance
between SME control
module plug 'A'
'Pin 28' and generator
plug 'A' 'Pin 2'.
< 5 Ω
 Step 6
Repair / replace wiring harness
→ End

6 CAN test:
• Carry out test according to checking
instructions/CAN data bus (Rep. Gr. 9700):
→ End

I'm just guessing - the moderator may have removed the link since forums don't like getting nasty threatening lawyer letters when people post info on obtaining ILLEGAL copies of copyrighted materials.

If not - they should. It's no different from stealing from your neighbor.. someone gets paid to produce the copyrighted material..

Ah - didn't spot it the first time:

Exactly. Thank you.

According to the site's rules, if it is copyrighted material, it’s fairly cut and dried; no distribution of illegal copies is allowed.

Not to mention, it's unfair to those of us that pay serious money in order to gain proper access to the official PIWIS.

On the other hand, as I said before, I don’t really like this money making policy (and over-protection from independent Porsche specialists), from Porsche’s side, and I believe that the workshops manuals should be free (or with a symbolic fee) and should be given to the original owner at the time of purchase.
