Default DIY oil change on 958 V8

At one year, I'm getting ready to do my first scheduled oil change. Has anyone done a DIY change on a 958 V8 yet?. It's obvious the undertray has to come off and perhaps all will become clear when I do that (finding the filter for example) but any advance info on which part of the tray has to come off, what tool is required to remove the filter, etc. would be appreciated. If not, I'll take pics and post a thread for the benefit of future DIYers after the job is complete.

Since it is the same 4.8 engine in the 957, I am assuming it uses the same oil filter wrench.

With that said, you will want a 76mm oil filter wrench with 14 sides.

Here is an example of a

Mike let's make a deal. I know that you can post good write ups.

I will send you the full instructions and you will post a DIY with pics.

Time to get a P!g archived in the DIY section.

Yes? : )

Thank you, John. I received your docs; they will definitely be helpful. The filter kit is on the way from Suncoast and the oil from Amazon. I'm hoping to do the change Saturday and post the DIY sometime next week.

Edit: Filter kit won't be here until the 9th. Oh well, this will happen eventually.
