Default Light Bulb Issues-Is this common?

Every few days I get a light bulb out warning. It seems that the 2 head light units are not sitting snug, and when I go over a bump or lightly knock the units the turn signal or low beam goes out.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Sam

it has been discussed many times in the past and IIRC there is 1 or 2 TSBs related to this issue.

Technical service bulletin, best place is Renntech.com but you have to join to view the TSB's. Well worth it.

There are screws that come loose over time on the headlamp base plate, its a DIY job. Also if its turn signal related bending the contacts up can help a lot

I will give that a shot, thanks.

I called PNA, they have no idea what a TSB is, and referred me back the stealer. I called them, and they have no idea what I am talking about.

Use some Loc-tite on the them when you tighten them up, and they should stay put. I think they are 10mm bolts.

Make sure the contacts on the back of the lamps are also in good condition and fit tight into the headlamp assemblies. Good luck.
