Hey guys, I am looking at t 2006 Cayenne S with less than 10K miles. Is there any specifics I should be asking or looking for? Thanks.

Waiting for someone to yell 'Fore'
Waiting for someone to mention 'STTF'

How many times is this question asked?

It's easy.
Look under the seat for a suicide note left by the previous owner.
if there isn't one, buy it.

Default ok, larry

stop teasing the newbies.

kelly, the real answer is that once you hear the "CLICK", don't move until you have a buddy put some ammo boxes over the plunger.....

really, it will be fine.....

with 10k what is the reason for sale? look out for cars listed as "Company Lease" or somesuch, this was how CarFax listed my lemon return when they turned it.

FWIW, an 06 **** with CPO is probably as safe a bet as it gets when dealing with the pig.
If the financials are OK, then why not?

Personally, I'm still waiting for the Cayenne Hybrid.

I'm actually trying to find out the full story. And don't worry, I've got some tough skin when entering unknown territory. I do appreciate the input.

Kelly, Fore! and STTF (STFF?) are code/shorthand for Search The $rickin' Forum, I think that's what they were trying to tell you.

I'll post a link to a thread I started just after I bought my '06 'S' as soon as I track it down.

Pre Owned Search thread

There are others too. Good luck on the search.

can you provide more info as to is this from a private owner. Since it is still under warranty take it to a dealer and have them take a close look at it. If it is a dealers car will he certify it. If a private owner will he let you check it for damage. Even if they say no damage let an expert look at it. It is easy for a body man to tell if it has been damaged, painted etc. I recently purchased a certified cayenne for a dealer. A good friend who own a body shop asked me to take it by so he could inspect it. He found body damage that had been repaired with repaint. The dealer denied knowledge even though later on I found out the same dealership had done the work. I am still in negotiation with the sales manager to get this resolved.
