Default Chrome vs. Black Package

Hi, Guys!

My first post here.

I am a new hope to be very soon owner of '08 CS. I have been reading your posts for 2 days now and found lots of interesting and fun stuff!

Here is what I would like you to help me with - what look do you guys like better: Chorme or Black? It is not an expensive option, but I thought about this one for a lot of time and ordered Black in the end. What do you think?

I like the black. It really makes your wheels pop and those wonderful red calipers pop as well.

I have a black with the brushed aluminum and was wondering if anyone retrofitted one to all black and how much it cost?

I just read that you are trading those wheels for a set of Technos??

Why for?

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but, I like the accent the aluminum/chrome adds.

Thanks guys - I appreciate your opinion and thanks for supporting the Black.

The posted pictures are for demonstration and both are Turbo. I am getting a Cayenne S!

The black out package is really nice. But, the black and/or basalt black paint is a chore (a real chore) to keep clean and the swirls are a real pain (can anyone tell how to wax with no swirls?).

My next CTT will be either the plain black or white (really beautiful with the black out package).

I'd prefer that Porsche would offer Aluminum/Black AND Titanium trim option. (like on '06 TiT.S)

Definitely chrome. Black trim just looks like any other SUV out there.
