That R8 goes on a fully enclosed purpose built truck. Red one seen partially here https://acf.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Tapahtuma...g/IMG_7092.jpg behind that Audi S2 Time Attack monster. Google or Youtube "R8 1:1" if You're interested, bro-tip: the 1:1 nickname means something... I have no professional affiliation with that project but I can tell You that the shelving is there for a reason It's not something that was just slapped there for ****s and giggles, all the aerodynamics are designed and computer simulated by a company that does the same stuff for F1 teams. I really don't know or even understand the details.

And since this already went off-topic, here are a couple of pictures of couple of cool Porsche builds. Staying true for the off-topic part, none of these are actually mine, saw them at another track last saturday. Just sitting there behind the paddocks with no owners or drivers nearby so didn't get a chance to ask for more about them.

Default Here’s my 2004 Cayenne Turbo....

This is what I use my Cayenne for....90% of the time...pulling my Ranger bass boat. Who’s needs a truck when your Cayenne can tow 7,700+ lbs?

Our Wilco Hitchgate is universal - mounted out back for spare tire, 5gal Scepter cans, etc
The bush bar is custom but easily fabricated using the tow hook receptacles. It is basically a rollbar mounted out front. We have used it to recover others and have attached our winch to it to remove tree stumps. (Note receiver on passenger side) Photos show how it is mounted, note the parking sensors were relocated into it. You can also see our rock sliders below - they mount to the jack points front & back with support in the middle. Let us know if you have any questions. For other photos of this and our build see this Rennlist link - https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...meet-otis.html
Getting a detail done tomorrow to get it really clean - will have to get a photo then.

As posted above here are two photos after getting a clean-up & detail. Below are additional views of our bush bar, skid plates, & sliders. We do long distance travel trips of ~three weeks off road. We do not set out to do heavy rock climbing, we are set up for extended off-grid travels. After eight years & 108k off-road miles it still cleans up nicely. For other photos and our build info see this Rennlist link - https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...meet-otis.html

Default Fall in Michigan

Lil-T (as she is affectionately called) spends most her time shuttling kids to the park and to work....but damn she looks good doing it!

I got the CTT back from the workshop today after having brake booster vacuum hoses replaced and lowering links fitted. Gave it a good clean today and she looks amazing!! Having recently relocated to the Gold Coast in QLD, I purchased a little Weekend Warrior while I await the right time to add a 911 to the collection.
