Don't look now, but we drive our dogs around in the back of ours with the rear seats folded down and the luggage divider rolled up behind the front seats.
There are nose prints all over the windows and dog hair all over the cargo space.
I clean it up every two weeks whether it needs it or not.

Pics of the odo coming in a new post tomorrow...........T2

Our family vehicle ('05 Odyssey) sometimes looks as bad as the photos in the link above (except for the ink stains). When you haul around three boys aged 6 and under, it's hard to control the mess. If you think of it in the same light as a work vehicle (i.e. think of all the pickup trucks out there with scuffed beds, mud along the sides, grubby carpets from workboots etc.), then you can tolerate the mess a lot easier. That's how I rationalize it.
A Cayenne is a Sport Utility Vehicle... meant to be used in a different way than a 911 or Boxster. I don't think that Porsche intended it to be a garage queen, and I doubt that years from now, at the 100th Porsche Parade... that there will be a lot of Cayenne owners showing off their 50 year old low-mileage, meticulously-maintained pristine Cayennes.

This thread reminds me that we all need to post our customary "Cayenne on Vacation" photos after New Years, seeing as many of us will be traveling for the holidays...
