Please allow me to answer your question in 2 parts:
First:
Replacing the standard (incandescent) bulbs in the Cayenne with either
(a): higher or lower wattage incandescent bulbs
or
(b): LED light assemblies
Will likely cause the vehicle's built in bulb check diagnostic system/capability (the one that tells you to check a specific bulb in the car via the MFD) to malfunction and will display a "!" on the dashboard speedo cluster along with a 'Check xxx light" display on the MFD.
I am currently unaware of any of the aftermarket tuners offering LED tail light assemblies, however you can purchase individual LED lamp assemblies which do fit standard incandescent bases and allow you to simply replace an incandescent bulb with an LED cluster/assembly....you can see these in some flashlights, etc. You can get them from most larger electronics distributors.
Second:
(sorry, it's a bit of an inside joke for anyone to ask about LED lighting in a Cayenne and/or a trailer......and it' only 7AM, so it's a bit early for my meds)

How did I know it? As soon as I saw the word LED, I KNEW Lewis would have a response!!
BTW, I agree with him- you want a ! with you everywhere you go? Got mine again yesterday when putting the trailer away for the winter...

2. Yes, the new meds appear to be a bit better.....but I still think it's the agreement over the blonde nurse and the # of sponge baths.
3. I reserve the right to take the NEXT opportunity to vent

Wait a minute......has anyone ever seen 'catalin' and 'MadFox' together at the SAME time?
Nah, never mind, MadFox isn't a Defender of the Faithful, not since the immunization of the Purplesaurus Rex Kool Aid.....it's got to be someone else....but who?

And by the way.....I am considering taking the letters "L", "E" and "D" off my keyboard. It's hard enough typing in a straight jacket with a pencil in your teeth as it is, so a few less keys has GOT to be better, right?
