Default Cold start, drive mode, car is moving with a delay

Sorry, didn’t know how to explain the problem / situation I am facing at the moment.

cayenne Turbo 2005, Auto transmission

when I am starting the car in the morning, cold engine, choose D or R to drive…. The car is moving just with a short delay and not immediately. Is this a mechanical problem or maybe just not enough oil in some place of the drive train system?!

sorry for my English. I hope I could explain it well.

thank you

Sounds like an aging transmission, where it takes awhile and some to wake up.

Possibly low on transmission fluid.

It's up on the curb so it might have taken a nasty hit from below.
