955-957 Snoqualmie Area January Dinner
#16
Sorry gents. I just got home from the office and it says that it will take me 90 mins to get to you all. I am afraid that I am going to miss getting together with you all. Raincheck?

Rain check accepted. Understand that traffic was awful tonight.
Had a very nice dinner and conversation with Richard, his charming spouse Dolores and OTIS of Pano fame. We had such a good time, we will be doing it again but in a more central location (Bellevue/Kirkland) and at 6:30 so hopefully more can attend. Stay tuned.

Planning on moving the next meet to the Roanoke Tavern on Mercer Island at 6:30 for a more central location and at a time more can attend. Will start a new thread with a title like Seattle area dinner meet soon. Thinking in about having it the month after next.

Got back from our winter trip to this thing called 'social distancing' -- Was looking forward to our next get together.
Hopefully we can resume once the world settles on what the new normal is.
With interest from Spokane we would not be adverse to trying Moses Lake or some other mid point.
The ALCAN rally was 5,120 miles one way - temps stayed between -20 and -30F, coldest got down to -40F blizzard with 60mph winds for a wind chill of -90F.
Driving conditions like at 2:20 coupled with the weather made for quite the challenge. Another Cayenne and Macan joined the adventure.

Hoping our quarantine ends soon so we can meet again.
In the interim here is a piece we put together for PCA about the Alcan with help from two others:
