Default 955-957 Snoqualmie Area January Dinner

Have seen a number of pigs running around Preston (trans-Siberia) Fall City, Carnation, N Bend and Snoqualmie area and thought it would be great to meet face to face and talk shop. A gray 955 with a Porsche emblem on the rear hatch passed me this morning while out running my dog, which gave me the idea. The Fall City Roadhouse seems centralish enough as a dinner spot or the Last Frontier if people are game.

Let me know here if you might be interested say the last Tuesday of January (28th) at 6:00 PM and which place and see if there is enough people to get something together.

Surrounding area owners welcome as well.

Chime in on this thread,
Rick

Great idea! The 28th at 6:00 PM works for us.
Have not been to the Fall City Roadhouse - would like to try it

sorry you can’t make it. We may need to raise a glass to our missing brothers.

It would be great to fill the parking area with pigs.

Indeed, but it may take me just as long to get there from Lake Forest Park in the North!

Could move it to 6:30 stars if that helps with traffic. Anyone disagree?

We are retired so anytime is good for us.
Glad to see Grissom from Spokane chime in.
Would love to see this turn into a state wide Cayenne group.

If we get enough interested in a state-wide, or at least Seattle-Tacoma area group, in the future; we could meet in a more central location, like The Islander on Mercer Island at 6:30 so the working stiffs can attend.

Thanks I did and forwarded it to my friend Bernie who is starting the restoration of a real factory 6 GT. It does not have a racing history but is the real deal. I would guess fully restored it would bring at least mid six figures. This might light a fire under him. He did a tribute a couple of years ago which was featured in either Pano or Excellence.

The marketplace gets crazy - our '93 RSA was looked at as an option delete C2 until recently.
After our Cayenne was written up in Pano I put this post up:

Totally cool! I read that article and really enjoyed it. A great adventure and written by a super writer.

When Randy was shooting the 914-6 GT I drove the camera ‘car’, his 05 CS, which I enjoyed so much I got my own. The funny thing is that his rear hatch struts were just about shot. So when he was shooting out the back at speed and I hit a bump, the hatch would crash down on him and he’d yell, “Oh ****. At least the cameras OK.” He got tagged about 5 X. When he as done shooting and Randy climbed out of the back with a couple of good knocks to the top of his head and said, “I’m really getting to old for this ****”.

I first met him when I joined the R Gruppe about 14 years ago. He was one of the NW originals.

This was my 73 S then and now lives with its new owner in the Philippines . Had a 73 RS spec motor and MFI and was an absolute blast to drive until it became too valuable.
