Does this affect European models?

Undoubtedly the flaw exists on euro models, but a US based "recall" has no weight or standing in any country but the US.

I received a letter last month. I’m in the UK.

This is timely. I have been noticing a strange behavior when I put my 2009 CTTS in park or take it out of park. It feels as though the cable is sticking. I bet that this is an issue directly related to this recall. I will schedule an appointment directly.

Tom,

I don't think the 09 TTS's are part of this recall. When I read the model and year details when this recall was first released I remember disqualifying my car and entering the VIN number into that Porsche recall lookup site linked in this thread brings up a page that says Recall Lookup with no entries listed under it.

No open recalls for my 10 S either according to the Porsche link. Good!

You are correct- it doesn't show any open recall on my CTTS. Strange, when I enter the VIN on the Porsche site, it says there is an error in the VIN and when I enter it on the NTSB site, it works and says the Make/ model etc... and that there are no open recalls.

I guess I will have to figure out what the (minor) issue is with my transmission on my own!
