Ordered an S today
Here's the details:
Dark Sea Blue
18" Collapsible Spare Tire
All Season Tires on 18" Rims
Activity Package
Black Smooth Leather
All Seat Heaters Including Steering Wheel
Driver Memory Including Mirrors
High Gloss Light Wood Package
Variable Assist Power Steering
Bi-Xenon Headlights w/ Washers
Moonroof
Thanks to everyone who helped me with the moonroof and bi-xenon questions. I can't wait for it to get here. And to everyone interested, I got about 9.2% off of list.
I hope to have a set of 22" Techarts, clear side markers, cat bypass pipes, and roof rails when it gets here. I don't know about anyone else, but I like the silver contrast against the blue paint.

I ordered mine yesterday too! In fact, I ordered almost the exact same set of options. I went with Titanium mettallic, the 20" wheels, no wood, and the roof carrying system, those are the only differences I can think of
At first the long list of ala cart options seemed like a pain. Then I realized that I could get a cool truck without all of the electronics I abhor in new vehicles. My dealer also found a March production date I can't wait. I was only able to get 6% off, but it was the best price going around here.

I find out tomorrow whether or not they can change a march production car. My biggest hangups were that I had to have the air suspension and black smooth leather.
With the titanium, I wouldn't have gotten the wood either. But it just seemed like too much silver stuff for my tastes, so I got the wood.

Air suspension was also a must for me. I was very impressed how well it rides with such flat cornering. The X5 can't touch it in that respect, nor can any of its other competition as far as I am concerned.
I was going to get the wood with the grey(dark) or beige(light) but the dark wood with black was invisible and the light was too much contrast for me.
It is a great all weather hot rod. I had a loaner for a week before deciding. One day I had it up to 125 in the dry, love the 4-5 shift at 110, it still pulls hard there! The next day it snowed and I was impressed by the stability management on icy roads. Very versitile

How much are you guys actually paying if you don't mind answering? Thanks in advance- what you're ordering sounds like what I would (except for the addition of a tow package).

George, The tow package is included in the Activity package. The options are a bit of a quagmire. The activity package is no more than air suspension, tow hitch and a fire extinguisher under the pass seat.
What I did was go to edmunds.com and configure a vehicle. They list all of the options and you can pick through pricing the way you want. One thing I noticed right away is that there is no price break on any package. So ordering what you want ala carte is no more expensive.
I think that the price is very dependant on where you are. Mine stickered at ~68.5 and they gave me $4k off sticker. I had one other dealer offer $1500 off and the third said they would beat the others by $500 For 500 extra I purchased from the dealer I have had good luck with. Besides, they let me drive a Cayenne for a week before I ordered. That was easily worth $500. I suspect east and west coast buyers can do a little better. They aren't having any problem selling them here, and they aren't interested in big discounts.

George,
I am in Md as well and bought my "S" last week form dealer in Rockville youmentioned. BTW, they where pretty good to me. The sticker on my "s" was $59,750 and I paid $53,150. Not bad I thought and if I would had taken the car with 450 miles on it they where willing to knock off another $250. I declined and bought the oe with 34 miles. Hope this helps.
