Default USB-C socket custom install in center console

Continuing the armrest rejuvenation tooling in a USB power outlet into the lower rear console. Pretty self explanatory.

Fixed my side marker light!

Got the bulbs and then thought my inadeptness was the cause of one of the wires breaking off.
Turns out the old bulb was still good and one of the wires just became embrittled and opened up.

Found these pigtails on eBay for $10 per pair:

"Universal Pigtail Wire Female Socket W5W Harness Side Marker Light Plug"
Took a lot of cross-referencing... I think the key search connection was VW Passats.

Anyway, it fits snug and I finally got with the times and used the butt connectors with the waterproof heat shrink, instead of the free ones from work that gave me carpal tunnel.
Also got to try out my new butane soldering iron / micro-torch from Harbor Freight.
Worked like a charm.

Drove from MD to LI, New York this weekend, total of 650 miles were put on. The CTTS performed flawlessly at legal speeds. Got to the belt pkway around 11 pm with no stand still traffic but heavy volume with EVERYONE believing they were on some racetrack...lol....for that last hour of the ride it was one hand on horn, full attention mode and head on a swivel. NY drivers r a special bunch...lol... Saw tons or pcars over the two days but not one 957 CTTS or any 957 variant, lots of high end BMWs, Audis, etc.. all running in the high rpm range.
