What Did You Do To (or With) Your Cayenne Today ?

Guys,
i have read all of the posts and appreciate your input. I own a 2016 Cayenne Turbo and have a couple of questions for you guys. I see that some of you have the IPD intake plenum installed. Do you feel that it is worth the money for the benefit of the increased hp? I would like to have my lettering blacked out and want to find someone that can do that for me without ordering new lettering from Porsche. Have any of you guys done the remapping of the ECU? I see that Econ’s has finally got a setup for the ECU model that I have and it is about $2k for the upgrade. The car is fast already and I love it but would like a little extra like all of you guys.

I don't know if the ipd makes any difference. I went to it because I found a used one and the OEM plastic plenums crack over time. On my Cayenne I changed a number of things that could be a future failure point on a family trip - same reason I replaced the cardan shaft with a 1 piece driveshaft unit and the plastic filter housing with a billet aluminum one.
I am running a Fabspeed stage 2 tune to take advantage of the other mods, which include the ipd plenum, the HHR CAI, FVD intercoolers for the turbos, Fabspeed secondary cat bypass pipes, a Cargraphic sport touring muffler, and EVOMS diverter valves.
HP with all that stuff and the tune is around 650 HP. According to my p3 vent gauge I'm getting significantly more boost pressure after the tune than before it. It all works together perfectly but don't know how it would be piecemeal.

I've had the driver's side fuel pump deactivated for some time because it was failing and today I replaced both pumps and the filter.
Nothing to add to the many DIYs around but I would suggest to get familiar with all the connections as per the picture in the DIY here before starting: by doing this I had no issues on putting everything correctly once in the tank.
Because of the access I found harder to unlock the passenger's side pump that the driver's. Besides this I found it a relatively easy job.
Out of curiosity I had a look at the removed filter. I'm not sure if it is the original since the carpet was already cut and it was clear someone worked there in the past the local style ( missing nut, broken connector, bent cover...) but look at that, fuel was coming out black:
The car runs better with more stable idle, more power in low rpm, less vibration coming at a stop and better gas mileage.

Replaced the passengers side valve cover gaskets on my 05 CTT. It had formed a leak at the rear and began smoking on the exhaust. The old gaskets had lost almost all elasticity. Cam sensor gasket was not leaking but was cracked in several places.
I changed the plugs and coils not too long ago, so I just pulled the plugs to inspect for anything odd going on in the combustion chambers and to check the gaps.
Drivers side will be done when I have a little more time.

,Thule roof rack almost complete today, still have to locate where to put the wheel holder. Not a fan of the smaller wind deflector, but still effective keeping the wind noise down. Also finally had the Hanksville resonated secondary cat bypass pipes installed on Rose. Nice bump in noise, seems a little better throttle response too.

What a trailer! You can fit a full size compressor, air lifts, a full work bench, 5kw generator, spare wheel set, parts bin for making repairs on the road. Oh, and the Porsche’s okay, too.

I replaced my spark plugs and coils this AM. Felt a little stumble last week at low RPM so I ordered a fresh set of coils and plugs. Good thing, 6 out of 8 coils were cracked on my 09 Cayenne S with only 55k miles.

Yesterday I installed new front pads and rotors, changed the oil, finally fixed my broken glove compartment latch and then dropped it off at the dealer for the coolant T repair and a diagnostic for what is wrong with my low beam headlight.

One hint on the headlights - they do look great. To keep them looking great find a really competent place that does wraps/paint-film,. and get them to cover the headlights with a 10mil clear film. They'll stay looking like new about forever. The place I used even had a pattern for it. Was in and out of the place in about 30 minutes - and only $50 lighter in the wallet. The headlights still look like new 50,000 miles later.

Please HELP! Need PASM control module for 11 Cayenne S
I own a 2011 Cayenne S which recently had the Chassis failure light come on. The Porsche dealership confirmed the PASM control module failed and needs to be replaced. They are telling me they cannot get the part until SEPTEMBER! How is that possible? They have had the Cayenne for 2 weeks and now I need to wait until September?? That's unacceptable. Where can I find the part? I'm a loyal Porsche guy (81 911 targa, 05 997s, 09 955 Cayenne, 11 957 S Cayenne) but this is making me lose faith in the brand. Can anyone offer some suggestions or recommendations on where to find a new or use part? Also, where is the best place to post a question like this? Thank you
