After months, maybe years, of research I finally pulled the trigger. It's in 09 GTS with 80k on the odo. Looking forward to wrenching on her and seeking guidance from all the helpful folks here. Very excited but a bit nervous.

Well, if you weren't nervous, then you wouldn't understand what you have gotten yourself into.

But it will pass.

Besides, the excitement should be stronger and more fun.

Thanks! The interior is black. I know the struts in the window of the hatch need to be replaced, I'm sure I'll find a DIY here on it.

Someone said "If you don't look back at your car when walking away - you're driving the wrong car.." - so true!

 

I have the same problem and I'm sorry to say that it doesn't get better over time. You'll learn to hide it better and people close to you will learn to be patient.
