Default What’s wrong with my tailight light? (Picture included)

I just noticed that this one bulb which I believe to be a running light is only working on the driver side and not the passenger. I changed the bulb and it is still not lit. What’s my next step to diagnose? I’ve tried all light positions, hazards, etc. That one side won’t light up and everything else works fine.

I had a feeling because I’ve owned Saabs before. But I have tried everything and can’t get the driver side to turn off. Unless I removed the bulb I guess? Also, from past experience with rear fog lights it should light up both sides after I put the new bulb on the non working side no?

my question is the fact only the driver side is lit looks lobsided, isn’t there a way to turn them off? I cant seem to be able to do it. If not I guess I’ll remove the bulb itself

The headlight switch controls it. Turn full right for headlights. Pull out 1 click for front fog lights, 2 clicks for rear fog light…

this is what it should do, but rear fog still lit even with the switch being pushed in, and even with one or two clicks out

Sounds like maybe a bad headlight switch…
