1st practice of the year. It was WET, & green slime was growing on the track, there was a 3-6in running river. I run stock class.

I think this was the worst run of the day, & my personal worst run of all time.

3rd fastest of the day, even beating the prepped cars on Hoosier wets.

What venue was that? Looks like a fantastic place.

Do you use a GoPro?

You talking to me?

It's Bremerton Motorsport Park, basically 2 old runways.

The camera is a Contour GPS, easier to use then the GoPro, & it has internal GPS.

My best runs were 50.3x and 50.49... That was my 7th event ever in AutoX

The only bad thing was that the event was too crowded and we did few runs... I couldn't figure out my tires in only 2 or 3 runs hours apart and i was sliding too much...

Typically on every pass i improve dramatically... Next event should be better and hopefully warmer!

Don't worry about it. As time goes on, one day it will click & you will get it. Tire pressures make such a difference, try asking what others are doing with cars or tires like yours. You got to wait over an hour between runs? That is pathetic! Our run groups are around 1-1.5 hours. Sounds like they need to pare down the number of cars per group.

On your videos, the in car is is to dark, & we can't see what's going on out side of the car. I have no clue if you are doing well, or bad. While I did the side of the car, same thing, I can't see any of course. Can you mount it on your hood, or closer to the windshield?

Not that I'm any kid of video pro, that was my 1st time using my camera. But I've messed with my DSLR in my other car with a cage & the same thing happened to me, the camera focus on the interior, & over exposes the outside of the car where you want to video. When the weather get better here I'm going to mount mine on the hood, or bumper, should give a POV.

We had a really tight course yesterday and I ended up coning away my four fastest runs (of 5) and what would have been an excellent pax finish, but that's autocross. Seems like my worst runs (cone-wise) tend to be the most fun, though, and having fun is why I keep coming out! The chicago box box sure was a rush, though.

My fastest (dirty) run:

I was playing with some whizbang data logging on my phone, too:

It provided excellent feedback between runs. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after the even that someone pointed out I was gunning the throttle before actually exiting the chicago box, and pretty much guaranteeing I couldn't wiggle fast enough to avoid hitting a cone upon exit. Should have been obvious from the logging, but I had no idea I was doing it, and didn't think to look for it.

Default Really Long Auto-x run

This was from Peachstate PCA auto-x this past Sunday:

At 1:21.4 this was one of the longest courses I have ever driven, or maybe I just need to drive faster?
