Default Suggestions for vinyl sales

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a site or company that can assist in selling vinyl albums?

I have vinyl from the 50's thru 2000, mainly Japanese import vinyl, some MoFi Labs including some UHQR and even a complete Beatles Box set NIB. Classical, Jazz, Rock, even some sports albums (Indy 500 on vinyl, from Fleetwoid Labs IIRC)

They have been stored for years and are my collection...maybe 100+, I have never counted. I am just looking to find them homes, that's all.

Thanks,

"I am just looking to find them homes, that's all."

Heck, I've got a home right here for them! : )

Audiogon is a good bet, but you have to figure out how you want to sell them. You can list individually, by grouping i.e. jazz, blues, vocals or even labels, etc. It can get tedious just listing them all and the shipping will be all over the place with many trips, plus the associated fees for the listings. The other routes, like going through a dealer/broker to sell them to as an entire collection will not yield as much gain as they usually lowball, especially with stuff that is not in real high demand. I'd seperate the high demand stuff first, but even that is going to take some homework on your part to figure out which they are. Audiogon can help there if you find similar lp's listed, but keep in mind, that may not be what they actually sell for, if at all. There is a site, which unfortunately I can't remember, that listed details on used stuff and what price ranges were. There is so much that can affect price like which pressing, availability and original numbers, even label colors. You have a lot of homework coming up.

There may also be a used vinyl store or 2 in your area that should be able to help. Just drop in and take a look first to see what what they are selling stuff at, then ask for appraisals.

Good luck, and send me a list!

If you are intersted in selling here, just prepare a list you can PM or email to interested persons. It would take up lots of bandwidth to post it all here

I would also like a list if you have not yet sold them all.

I've been traveling for 3 weeks and hope to be home next week.

Before I left, I dropped them off with someone who was going to do some listening and sorting thru the collection.

At some point, I will try and compile a list...it will be a long list, as I was surprised exactly how many albums were actually there.

I've never sold anything on eBay and if I had a choice, I would prefer to see them go a fellow RL member.
