This is a beast. Hand made here in NZ, and built like a tank. It feels like it's been carved from a solid piece of alloy.
This should get the PL300's moving some air
This puppy is 310 RMS. I opted for pure power over Class A this time.
Looking forward to getitng it set up in our new house in a few weeks time.
In the mean time it can stay at the shop in my demo room.

Yes it is a 301. A mighty beast!
I had a few minutes to have a listen to it today but it is really bright. I mean REALLY bright. So it's running for the weekend and hopefully on Monday it might sound a bit less toppy.

that is unusual. all reports suggested a warmer sound. i'm not into bright sound anymore; 20 yrs ago perhaps, but these ears like mellow sound. which speakers/cables you use?
you may need some tubes in the system and darker cables to temper the sound.

I have thought about some tubes in the past.
Jimmy, Speakers are Monitor Audio PL300's and cable is Slinkylinks. It's possible the cables might be the culprit, but the amp needs time to run in a bit.
I also am over bright.
One thing I noticed immediatley was the size of the soundstage. HUGE!
I do have an older SA103 at the shop which I might well use somewhere yet.
Never tried the Biamp thing in my own home................yet.
