I'm really close (will probably start the deal Monday or Tues) to making the purchase on the 08 997.1TT with 7600 miles (I posted build sheet above) and simply wanting opinions before I do. Is the market on these 997.1TT's going to hold??

PROS
-Near showroom condition
-Coils / Plugs literally JUST done. (receipts)
-Fidelity Platinum Warranty (only $100 deductible) until July of 2020 (transferable but not sure of the process).
-Black GT3RS wheels with brand new Mich. PS4S tires (400 miles on them)
-Orig. wheels / tires come with it.
-Xpel on entire front of car
-Opti-Coat on entire car.
-Silver / Natural Gray

CONS
-Paying a healthy price but fair (according to my research).
-I'm having to finance %70 of the entire purchase.

This will be a bucket list / Dream purchase, so I'm hoping I'm making the right decision.

For S&G's...What else is out there in this price range for the money / value??

Sounds like a winner to me. Not sure if the market will hold short term on a TT as all exotics are slightly low right now.

But I dont think you should hold your potential purchase for that.

Yes, Just get the car. You love it, it's priced fair for the miles, the color is perfect, what's not to love? Cars like this don't come around every month.

Well I never mentioned the price lol
But you can either guess (based on the market) or you may know the seller??

It's definitely fair given the $4K warranty, $4K worth of wheels /tires (plus originals), $1300 worth of brand new plugs / coils.

Gorgeous car though!!

Especially with the warranty it sounds like a great buy unless they're asking $90k or something. (My ballpark would be probably $78-82k?) As long as the payments won't be too painful, I say go for it.

At the beginning of the thread I mentioned a few other cars I am considering - R8 V8V10. GT3... After lots of research and test drives, I think the R8 is the most direct competitor to the TT but more the V10 than the V8. Prices are close and I predict it will hold value into the future. So far these sell for good money in the auctions.
