GMG or H&R springs
I've tried reading as much material on this as possible. But everyone contradicts each other. Some say GMG are softer than stock. Some then say H&R are equal to stock and GMG is stiffer.
Which is true? Also I read H&R drops 1 inch by GMG drops like .78 inch. I've road in a car with H&R. It more or less was equal to stock. I could tell it was firmer going over speed bumps.

Never heard the over an inch part. Guess I have to measure my friends and compare to mine. What do you mean by sags?

The HR is a softer spring, more bouncy and will drop about another 1/4" a few months later. The gmgs won't do this.
Most HR springs drop 30mm on average, well over an inch. Tuv approved springs (gmg, eilbach, techart) only drop 15-20mm.
Has to do with one being progressive, the other linear, one wound tighter, etc. ck out the gmg site.
Gmg are the best all around lowering spring for these cars, IMHO.

So how much stiffer are the GMG? I drive the car every day. I don't want to kill myself when driving it. Also I'm wondering how the GMG would ride if paired with DSC.

I have the GMG springs and they lower the car about 0.75"-0.8". they are a little more firm than stock but that is a good thing IMO. it reduces the nose bobbing that happens in non-sport mode with the stock setup. If you want to have some better handling around corners and enjoy the lower aesthetic look, then I'd recommend the springs.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss, I went with H&R and didn't know anything about the differences between springs, I just wanted to lower the car about an inch. I've had them for about two years and haven't noticed any sag. The first pic below is with oem springs, the second is with H&R. Very subtle difference. BTW, wouldn't the slightly lower H&R help the car handle a little better than GMG since they have a lower center of gravity, or does the stiffness negate that? Just curious.

My H&R sagged like a **** and rode like crap. When I took them off for Eibachs they were almost 1.6" down from stock ride height. Garbage.

Silver is on GMG, black is stock. GMG make Sport too stiff, grab the DSC module as well. Combined it makes the car more comfortable, not less.
Edit: iPhone seems to have made the first pic very low res. Here's another.

Alright can someone confirm if GMG springs with DSC makes the ride as smooth as stock? That means not more bumpy or harsh.
Also can someone comment on the GMG spring sway bar combo? Maybe even GMG spring sway bar combo with DSC? That last one is probably really pushing it.
