Thoughts on totaled '08 TT
So I had the misfortune of rear ending someone a month ago. The car was declared a total loss. With the salvage value pinned at less than what I estimate it's worth in parts/scrap, I opted to keep the vehicle.
The car is an '08 TT Tip with 25,xxx miles. All maintenance was performed at my local Porsche dealership. Drivetrain, wheels, brakes, interior and everything aft of the A pillar is intact.
I'm hoping to get advice on how to part out the vehicle or to sell the wreckage outright. Thanks for looking.

PMs and email sent. Thanks for interest. FWIW, I have no interest in the drama/work involved to fetch "maximum" value so I'm sorting through a few "options" that have been floated to me.
Kevin- Thanks for the all the info/advice you gave me this afternoon. If you're ever in the Los Angeles area I owe you a few drinks .

Call Oklahoma Foreign in OKC and I think there'll be some interest in the car. If there is whoever you talk to will tell you what is needed -- pics, lots of pics.
Now you might not get any more for the car as you were allowed for. When my 08 Cayman S was totaled OK Foreign offered me just exactly what the other driver's insurance company offered as savage value. (But it was nice to get confirmation from another source regarding that.)
What I did then was contact a manager at an Adesa auto auction facility near me and long story short arranged to sell the car as a salvage car with a salvage title at a salvage auction at this facility. I had the car flat bedded to the facility and it was given "top billing" on the auction floor then the auction was held.
The winning bid was several thousand dollars over and above what both the other driver's insurance and OK Foreign offered for the car.
