Since I started this tread...

I just bought a 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo, black on black, with 15K miles. She's a beauty! Has some carbon fiber trim, but not too much. Has a clear bra on the front bumper and headlights, but not on the hood. So, it has several small paint chips, but hard to tell unless you are five feet away. Wonder why the previous owner didn't have the clear bra on the hood. Oh well, I plan to fix that with Dr. ColorChip.

I have a few additional questions...
- Any good/bad reports on Dr. ColorChip to fix paint chips?
- I have TechArt sport exhaust pipes. How can I tell if there is a TechArt exhaust system and not just the pipes?
- Car came with some very nice wheels. Has anyone seen these before? These bad boys are 325/25/20 in the rear and 245/30/20 in the front. Would like to find out who the rim manufacture is. Porsche dealer said they aren't Porsche wheels.

Congratulations on your 997!
I had a good experience with Dr Color Chip on a silver car on small chips, it didn't do well on a scratch though.
I am looking to get into a 997tt as well - glad to read your thread.

Congrats on your new car. Reach under the bumper and take a few pictures of the exhaust. Post them and I will tell you.

Kevin, Here are a couple pictures of my exhaust. I think it is the stock exhaust system.
