Sweet deal on a sweet wheel.
Love my Champion RF67's. Different wheel, still a bitch to clean, but looks damn good.

Eric, the RF67 is my favorite wheel for a 997. I was wondering how easy/difficult they were to keep clean.
Now all I need is a 997 so I can buy the wheels!

Eric how does Rejex work on wheels for making them easier to clean?? I have PCCBs so not a lot of brake dust thankfully.....

Tim, stop by if you're ever back this way! Cleaning the RF67 is tougher b/c the angles are sharp, not soft like the old 996 twists. But you get the hang of it after you bust a couple knuckles the first time.

I use a Griot's long handled sponge product to get into the barrel pretty deep, and I use P21S Wheel Gel that does pretty good too on getting most of the crud out early in the process. But I can wash the whole car in less time then I spend on the freaking wheels. Really. They do look good, and with the Rejex they stay in pretty clean shape for a while too.
Leigh - Rejex is a sealant, it makes painted surfaces very slick and slippery. You apply it to the wheel and inner barrel, and just like on painted surfaces, buff off after 10 mins or so. It's easy on/easy off, but it bonds to the finish, so it stays slick for a good long time. Any crud that migrates onto your wheels will easily wash off. Similar to what wax would do. I just like Rejex much better than wax, and it does what it says it will do. We've carried it for years - once I used it on my earlier Porsches, I knew this was the answer to keeping the paint in top notch condition.
I rejex all my vehicles about once every 3 months, including wheels.

Leigh, in good health as we say in Greece. Post some pics once you put them on!
