Any forum members in Europe actually driving one?
Any US cars on the street?
(Mine is supposed to be comong off the boat in the Noth-east as I write this).
joe-good luck on the car-all of us would love to know your impression the second that you get your car-when do they say you will get yours?
Originally expected to be here by the end of December, but given that it is confirmed to be on the ground, but "on hold", I am guessing that Porsche has put a hold on all of them for a uniform delivery date throughout North America.

i have an 09 turbo and waited over a month for my car in august-oct of 08. the car was in port in the u.s. but because of epa issues, along with other issues, all 09 turbos had to sit until oct to be released by porsche. then in early oct, all the cars showed up at the dealerships at once. it wouldn't be unusual for porsche to pull a similar act, as they hold the car to clear up some matters. it would be so simple to give it to you when it gets here, but for one reason or another, life isn't so simple with new car distributions. hopefully, you get it soon, and we can hear about it.
Chris, do you think the release date is the first week of Jan 2010 or later? From you've said it appears it could be earlier. I guess I'll have to patient.
Back when the 997tt came out , it was supposed to be officially released on Monday, I stopped by the dealer on Friday and the first one was literally being driven home.
