Default 2009 White 997TT Coupe (BWW - lots of photos)

I obviously do not possess any photography skills so I just washed the car and pulled it into the street to snap photos.

I just want to say thanks to the following people who really helped me out along the way:
  • Atomic80 (Jason), The Groom and many others for helping me make sure the specs were just right.
  • Eric the Plug Guy for the black Turbo logo and all the information he posted while we were all waiting for our 2009 cars.
  • Ric at Suncoast Porsche for the side markers, tail lights, Das Shild, floor mats, and all that other stuff I ordered from him.
  • Stradale for providing the inspiration for my wheels.
  • Dave, Alan and the rest of the guys at Wheel Enhancement for putting together my Champion RS171 wheels and going way above and beyond to provide amazing customer support and service.
  • Valerio at Poggipolini for my wheel bolts (not yet installed).
  • Damon at TireRack for my winter tires and miscellaneous other stuff.
  • Moe at Glistening Perfection for the great wash and detail products, including the Airmax dryer and water de-ionizer.
  • Alex at SharkWerks for all of the free advice, the upcoming mods, and for being a very cool guy.
  • Nancy at Niello Porsche for taking care of my order and putting up with my OCD.
  • Anyone and everyone else who have helped me along the way.

I still need to swap over the Poggipolini bolts – the driver was forgotten and just arrived a few minutes ago. I really like how the wheels turned out. I ordered black wheel weights and had the valve stems painted black for the “finished” look.

Awesome car man... That is a hell of a lot of deviated stitching! What did that hit you for?

It looks great and VERY personalized. Enjoy it in good health!

Thanks! I skipped the yellow belts because this is going to be a daily driver and many have said the yellow belts do not wear well. Also, I did not want to draw atttention to a piece of safety equipment. They do look good though and I added/subtracted them a few times before my final specs were in.

Well, the stitching is expensive. It is hard to add it up because some options include stitching and others require specific stitching option codes. Take the shifter brake:
if you want my shifter without deviated stitching you order:
  • CDZ -Gear Lever Trim Leather ($250)
  • DAD - Gear Lever/Handbrake in Aluminum and Leather ($1,555)
if you want my shifter with deviated stitching you order:
  • DAW - Gear Lever and Handbrake Lever Aluminum/Leather ($2,130)
  • 09991 - All Exclusive Options with Deviating Stitching (also covers other items) ($290)
So is it $2130+$290 or $2130+ part of $290 or $2130+$290-$1,555-$250??? Basically, it just costs way too much.

Whatever the stitching cost, it is gorgeous. The rooftop Sat radio antenna looks ok, and the PCM/Nav looks simplified. Overall, a real winner.

Crap! That is a lot of leather, but very cool.

You have some leather pieces that I knew were available but never saw anyone actually get--fuse box cover, sill covers, etc. They look great. Just make sure you lift your foot when getting out--a few passengers of mine have scuffed up my plastic sill covers already......they are no longer my friends.

By the way, is the hood shield stock nowadays? I had to install my Das Shield (sp?) myself and thought that it was something that should have come with the car. Does it now?

It looks really good Scott. I'm surprised they wouldn't let you order the door finishers in leather, Porsche is very odd sometimes when it comes to ordering cars.

It is not standard - I ordered the Das Shild from Suncoast.

Door finishers in black was the only option. I was a little disappointed I could not get the door finishers in leather but it turned out great anyway. My order was pulled pretty early, so it my be an option again now.

Holy Bovines Batman!
Is that the PETA edition interior?
Personally I couldn't think of a nobler cause for those cows to sacrifice their hides. Looks great.

I am usually not a white car person either. But I have seen some incredible looking white cars on Rennlist. Awesome color combinations on your new TT. Enjoy the ride.
