Default New Wheels - Champion RF-67 19"

Just wanted to post up pics of some new shoes. Ordered these back in March sight un-seen as they have only been available in 20". I believe I'm one of, if not the first person with these mounted in the country.

Finding a wheel was not easy - my criteria was not easy to meet. Had to be forged, lighter than stock, and no big lips or heavy chrome/polish. Too bling for me.

Dude those are freakin sweet looking wheels! Sort of a forged, lighter version of the RS wheel.
Very nice.

Chris,

Very nice! They look great. If they are appreciably lighter than stock, I'd be curious if they improve the ride (less unsprung weight, and all that).

Your ride looks (and likely sounds) real sweet.

Hey Ken, hope all is well! I forget what the stockers weigh - 24F 29R or something like that? I think these are around 20F 22R. I spoke to Jesse at Champion the other day and he told me he forgot to weigh them as he wanted to get them out to me. I also forgot to weigh them He did say they might be a tick heavier than other 19" champion with a lip as that type of wheel is actually a bit lighter.

Haven't had a chance to throw it around yet to see if there is any difference. Whether there is or not I'm sure i'll "feel" a difference LOL!

Very nice, Chris. Heard that you sold my friend Randy on the TT. Seeing as how I seem to follow his cues on cars, looks like I'll have to get one now

Very nice- what are you going to do with the old ones? I have been thinking about them as an upgrade for mine.

small world!! I thought he was doomed when he told me he wanted a car in 3 months and spec'd to his liking. Lucky for him we got him a dealer who happened to have a build spot in Oct. He didn't leave many of the option boxes unchecked LOL!!

No kidding. He sent me his options list. Didn't get for the PCCB's though. Told him he should go for one of the 'cop-magnet' colors like Guards Red or Cobalt Blue

Luckily, I live right by the dealership, so I'll hopefully get to before it and maybe even catch a ride before his wife

Chris: Beautiful wheels! and thx again for all of your help!
Ed: Sorry, the wife gets the first ride (she has to take me to the dealership - I don't have a trade in)
You can be the first to drive it after the break in, though.

Sent the tentative options list to Gary at Pepe today. I have not finalized it yet, but I think that I am pretty close.

Now is the hardest part: the wait...
