From what I heard, there were 4 different iPod solutions presented/developed.
Guess which one was chosen (think profits, profits, profits).
Of course, what do I know about Porsche electronics infotainment design?
Here is my favorite one! First note the car that is used as a demo. Sorry, truck. Then go and see what cars are compatible with the product... Not the complete absence of Porsche!
I have the dennison, works ok until you try and upgrade the software, then it blows. I'll end up sending it back to Eric one of these days, pia. If the porsche one worked trouble free I would have just gotten it, how bad can it really be?

Chris - yours is an anomaly, I can assure you. We have over 600 units installed, and only a few quirky issues. But each firmware revision has been a significant improvement over the earlier version.
Feel free to crystallize any remaining issues and email them to me. We'll keep digging with Dension to find a fix to your problems.
Eric, I don't blame you, I think the unit is just not what it should be, prolly none of them are there yet. If I get some time this wknd, I'll pull the brain and send it in, just email me a RMA# when you get a chance. Can I just take it out and let the wires hang free, or will it take my system out of line??

Eric, I've also been having problems with mine. We've done the flash USB upgrade @ DD with Matt & Eddie & I made sure my iPod was running the latest software version. Still having the same poblems. Any suggesitons what to do next? Thanks.
Reset the Dension with the button on top of the AUX switch, then toggle the AUX switch six times. Pull out the iPod and reset the iPod (hold down main wheel at 12 o'clock and middle for a few seconds).
Power down the car, arm it for 10 minutes.
Reconnect iPod, start vehicle. See if that solves it.
