I would get the whole front end/mirrors/rear fender/turbo inlet bulges PPF'd (aka Clear bra)...if you daily drive it on an interstate/expressway your car's paint gets killed on a daily basis. I personally like the latest 3M PPF, ten year protection against yellowing and if you get any rocks that affect the paint thru the PPF they will fix it.

I agree with usrodeo. Protect that paint. You’ll appreciate how good it looks every time you look at it.

Highly recommend getting PPF professionally installed. Lots to research (I'm in the middle of this currently). Read up on local detailers who offer the product and installation. I believe SunTek, XPEL, and 3M are some of the top products.

Biggest issue to be aware of is flashing red and blue lights is rear view.

Agree too with USrodeo. I have over 40K on my daily driver 997.2 TT over 2.5 years and regret not going with full frontal protective film from the beginning as I was too cheap. This is one of the few regrets I have. I would recommend Ceramic Pro to keep your Turbo looking its best every day with only an after drive wipe down. Most Turbo owners only get to enjoy driving their cars once a week or a couple times a month. I get stoked every time I start the Turbo, it never fails to put a grin on my face and makes every day a better one!

And do a color correction prior any PPF or ceramic coating application.

^^^ THIS!! lol

Aside from that, Mine (2012 TTS) has been rock solid!! I've driven just shy of 5K miles in 10 months of ownership ( Almost 36K miles on the clock).

I Do have full frontal PPF and swear by it ( Car came with it thank the Lord )

I DO however recommend you purchase a Europipe Exhaust for it (Sounds so amazing) and buy a TPC DSC suspension controller for daily use. It'll make the ride SO much better for daily / hwy. use and for the twisties.....!!

Here's a few vids of the Europipe Sound and a short "Install" vid I did show how easy the DSC is to install.

Some Mountain driving just for fun

Some Drag Racing for fun as well Completely stock (except Europipe) 10.96 @124.1mph in Hot / Humid conditions.

Big Swole: I've got a Europipe and the DSC on my 2010 997.2 TT too. Cold starts are the best! Nothing but oil and filter changes and a sunroof motor replacement with the odometer now showing 65K.

NICE!!! I rarely, if ever use sunroof, so hopefully I'll be good to go.
I did however buy a Fidelity 6/ 60K Platinum warranty just in case.

Went on a business trip 2 days ago, 150 miles oneway. The only thing I dont like about this car is that it eats road. Does not feel ever boring. I only drive this hwy and long drives.

I wanted an Auto to use. And since im by myself, its me time. What will i drive,? I moved everything in the garage and pulled it out.
I wanted to make it a great day and a turbo S on the hwy kept me entertained.
