Default Exhaust Tips

I am having my Europipe installed in a few days, and am thinking I need some new tips to go with it! Seems like the just about all the options are modified quad's that seem to split the exhaust? I have seen a few sets of larger singles. Anyone have any thoughts, photos, sources to share. Really interested in anyone with a Europipe as I think I recall reading Stef is not a fan of the quads on his exhaust.

I love the Soul GT2 RS style tips on my 997.2 TT. Quality, fit, lifetime guarantee and pricing make this mod an excellent value too. My only quibble is minor and makes me hesitant to mention it - though you should know this - the brushed finish on the single wall tips turns gold with heat. l still prefer the Soul exhaust tip to OEM and will stay with it until a silver option becomes available. Go for it and you won't be disappointed.

Are you running an aftermarket exhaust?

Did you notice a sound difference between stock tips and Soul?

Definitely a little louder in a good way. I too was worried about the round tips ruining the Europipe's tone. Not a concern, IMHO.

Thank you for the love! The tips are made of stainless steel and will naturally turn gold due to heat. We can PVD coat the tips satin black as an additional option but they are special order. We've even been considering titanium shells but they would be costly, but with enough interest we make it so. I wish we had a more immediate solution to meet your tastes, but we will keep you updated when we have more options.

A closer look at our tips:

We're always here to take care of Rennlist members should you need a set, and we can do custom logos on them as well.

I like the idea of satin black... no discoloration. Thank you guys for the input.

I will confess to wanting something different when I installed my EP to my 997.2TT. After a while, I learned to love the stock singles enough to stop looking. Today I'm a fan of the singles. They fit the hole the best.

I don't know anything about "PVD" coating, but I will definitely warn against powdercoating your tips. I did that, and ran my car so hot that the powder disintegrated. Make sure whatever you use resists heat BIG TIME!
