We only offer the single tips for the 997.2. Due to the location and angle of the tip outlets, it would be difficult if not a compromise to build bolt on single wall quad tips in house.

Below is an extreme example of the effects of heat on 304 stainless. We're using 321 stainless on the tips which has slightly more resistance to turning gold over time.

For ceramic coating we recommend Jet-Hot - the results are great. We're expecting some McLaren exhaust components back from them any day now so we'll have some pictures to show the quality.

I prefer quads. Any PVD coated quads for a 997 TT?

Agree w TTBill (fellow bike builder), use Jet Hot for a custom heat treated coatings. I like the quad style too but that's personal. The set on my TT nicely fills the opening at 3-1/2 dia each and on my car I like the black chrome finish. My exhaust is a combo of one mfg exhaust and another mfg's tips. Call me fussy, but I know what I wanted and couldn't get it all from one source (or I wasn't patient enough to wait).
PM me and I'll let you know the mfg's tips if you prefer. All these guys produce good stuff so its largely a matter of personal preference.
