I'm NOT a fan of lowered cars. I've always thought stock ride height looks best. Plus hate a rougher ride.
Now, If I was doing track work, then looks would take back seat.

 

I let a Friend of mine drive my car the other day on the way to get lunch ( I drove his Cayman S).
He forgot to put it in Sport / Sport Plus mode but did a little "FLY BY".


My iPhone doesn't do it justice on the sound, but the Europipe sound so good and just loud enough.

 

Been meaning to update this thread for those that don't already know. I guess I kept putting it off because I can't really believe I did it.

The Turbo S is gone


Very long story but I'll try to shorten it up. I've always loved cars and especially Ferrari's and Porsche's. I've checked off several of the boxes of my "Bucket List" with Porsche beside them but never an Fcar. I've researched them for a long time now and even bid on a few on BAT but never was totally serious since I had my TTS and have been so happy with it. However, one day I joined FChat forum just for S & G's. Made only one post on a thread asking about wether he should get rid of his 991.1 for a Ferrari 328. I simply commented that I understood his love for his childhood dream car and that mine was always a Ferrari 308 GTS QV from Magnum P.I.

Within about an hour I was PM'd by the now current owner of my Turbo S. Long story short, he proposed a Trade. Due to some personal issues on his side, he was needing and wanting to try a PDK 911. After about a month of us meeting and driving each others cars, we finally came to an agreement on a Trade deal.

So, Here's what I now own. I've wanted one since I was a kid. The 308 is one of the most iconic beautiful cars made. (BTW, I hope to be back in a Porsche sooner than later also...Hoping to find a way to have / keep both).
1985 Ferrari 308 GTS QV that has been completely restored. Infact, it's sort of a "RESTOMOD". It was restored by a famous Ferrari Restorer (Paul Newman in Canada) who rebuilt the original engine but used a 360 Crank to basically "Stroke" the original 3.0L. So it's now a 3.4L. It also has special cams and an Haltech EFI injection system.

It makes 351 WHP.
