It's amazing how quick you forget how stock was...

Question: When it's returned to "stock" form, the dealer will still know that the program/tune was changed, correct?

The dealer will not see any changes.. Flash count matches the pre tune count.

Kevin, I don't know why I don't just buy your tune and sell my cobb AP. This has been weighing heavily on me

That is exactly what I did, and I highly recommend it.

Edit: I'll also add that if you're running an OTS Cobb tune, the different between Kevin's custom tune versus the Cobb OTS tune is night and day. Going from the Cobb stage 2 OTS tune to Kevin's tune was a bigger change than going from stock to the Cobb tune.

How does the FVD off the shelf tune compare? That's what I have on my car and I swear to this date it makes not that much of a difference.

Thats what I had on my car prior to getting Kevin's tune.. I make a few references & comparisons to the FVD tune in my dyno thread and my "fun with data" thread (https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...with-data.html )

I, too, had issues with the FVD "genius" programmer, to the point where I could not go back to stock or change the tune in any way.. I finally had to have a phone call with a guy in Italy (the vendor that provides the ECU programmer is an Italian company) and spent a few hours getting it to where I could flash it back to stock.. I talked to Kevin about 3 years ago and have never looked back..

Took me about 5 minutes to return to stock file with the hand-held device.

Just bought it, thank you Kevin for teaching me a metric f*ck ton about the car and shop selection.

Will be going from OTS Cobb AP Stage 2, to stock, then Kevins tune. Running my current mods, and 93 Ethanol free.

THEN MAYBE SOME BBS CH-R WHEELS?!?!?

UMW is a great tool. I just sold my 07 TT and no longer need the data logger. Will sell to first reasonable offer.

Kevin can confirm this but the logger is encrypted to your cars VIN and will require his rework for the future owner, FYI. I had this issue when the previous owner of my car wished to keep it and it made financial sense for it to stay with the car.
