Discussed when I first noticed it on the Canadian AutoTrader's site around the beginning of December 2017.

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...ale-u-95k.html

Still no takers after three months but maybe it will sell with the onset of spring and the start of the Canadian driving season. For a lot of the last few months over the winter it would be difficult to really push a test drive hard in Montreal.

Just curious how a car in Quebec has a contact in Beverly Hills?

I think I like the interior. Gives it a more exotic flavour.

If I were in the market for a highly, HIGHLY modified 997TT, I would want to be dealing with the owner that built it - not a used car dealership. With highly modified cars, comes the risk of things not working perfectly. I think there is only a tiny subset of 997 shoppers that would even consider this car, regardless of price. And those shoppers probably aren't looking to buy a car like this from a used car dealer.

I personally would run away from this car. It's too over the top for me, too many mods, a potential money pit, and it's too bad the former owner decided to waste so much money destroying a great OEM 09 TT. I would bet it's on consignment because no one, not even a dealer, would actually pay good money for this car. IMO it will be for sale for a long time and when it does sell it will sell for a highly discounted price.

I’ve bought modified cars in the past and in the end I’ve consistently been disappointed. I’ll pay a premium for OEM stock versions vs. paying for the mystery box that my mechanic or myself cannot figure out. Buying highly modified cars (any), is at best a crap shoot and in the case of a 997.1TT, could lead to tens of thousands of dollars in repairs. I personally, wouldn’t spend even $40K for it...jb

You would think with all the money spent they could have purchased a new "turbo" badge and at least centered the turboR.....
