Is that a Sammy in your profile pic? How do you like the breed? We have a deposit down for a litter

944 Turbo could be really interesting too - how do they drive?

I like where Ilko is going but I prefer the hot rodded 964s.

Matt, go to Mooty's drive some old ****. You'll forget about those italians and japanese.

I sort of like idea of building a spoon itr

When I was 18 I had a beat up well used GSR that I loved and dreamt about that $9k spoon motor - think it would be cool to own one. Somewhat worried it'll be tremendously underwhelming but the dream certainly feels good

glad you found a spot with more space!

I've been in a JDM mode as of late, maybe it's form watching too much Initial D but, FC or FD RX7, AE86, NSX,

Owned S2000 and ITR before and the S2000 was/is a great car, especially in California where you can put the top down, one of the few cars designed as a roadster. ITR stock like the E30 M3 is okay but nothing spectacular or if anything bleh by todays standards.

Had a S2k as well, enjoyed it, but the "specialness" wasnt there for me, loved the motor scream.

Can you build / buy a B18c5 motor that makes good power? I think I would want 250whp or so to be excited?

most Honda guys go k-series now over b-series from my understanding.

I think you'll be underwhelmed. I think once you go 'up' market, refinement, feel, performance... going back is tough. I think S2K is good, I had one for 6 years, great car, but compared to any 911? Meh. That shifter tho.... If you want JDM, NSX or import a GTR. Built Supra are cool, but good luck finding one done to the standard you would and isn't beat to hell. Another option is an old skool JDM like a Celica. My buddy builds these and well, they are seriously cool.

You're just an a-hole drug dealer. First sniff is free! And yes, Matt is definitely smarter than I am, not hard! Remember I got you hooked on that G series

I had a "bone stock" 92? time capsule Supra for a few months that I flipped to buy my 993.
Good looking car, and i loved the driver focused cockpit, but I'm not a turbocharged car fan.
A friend that had a few P cars drove it and said, what is wrong with your steering, it has no feel.
i don't remember that being an issue, but just letting ya know.

Ps, regarding the muscle car suggestion.
Drive before you get too far down the mental process. I have a 69 'Cuda and recently drove an improved 69 Firebird, both ar distressingly bad handlers compared with what we have grown accustomed too.

Good luck with the move and the search

There is truth to this, finding a stock Supra is like finding a unicorn.

Type R go 98, less of them, face lifted and importantly Championship White.

Ironically on the MKIV Supra, this year I have seen more unicorns come through the door in bone stock form than any year prior (5-6 completely bone stock cars..... all of which are now modified even though I've actually tried to convince the owners to leave stock).

I had the pleasure of driving a last year model supra, w/ 18,000 miles a few years back. 100% Stock form. Horrendous driving experience, to me. Therefore i'm completely perplexed how a lot are supporting the supra. I was (still not) not a supra fan before i drove the car( i grew up streaming Leh Kings Road Atlanta in car video of the supra drifting w/ a 56k modem too). A close friend once drove his "dream car", a 993 - and he called me right afterwards saying it was the MOST underwhelming experience of his life. He's a huge Porsche guy. He couldn't believe and i quote "such heap of **** has been my dream car for over a decade". I had a similar experience with a R34 i drove in Japan 5 months ago. In conclusion, be careful in making your dreams a "reality".
