Default GT2 Seat Belt Buckle Install

Installed racing seats in my 997 and the compliment was a pair of GT2 Seat Belt Buckles. When you slide the belt into the buckle the release is at the underside of the buckle. Is the fitment correct? See photos.

GT2 Seat Belt Buckle mounted to harness adapter before install.

Ok so I am technically challenged here, can you please explain in further detail. Maybe a pic would help, thank you.

Here is the assembly to the Tunnel Side Anchor. I do not see how the buckle could be inverted so as to have the belt release on top.

Congrats on the new setup!

The lap belt needs to be UNDER the buckle. The way you have it when cinching it tight, you'll have the buckle underneath your lap belt and that is no bueno.
What Spyerx is saying is that the red buckle release should be on the posterior side in relation to the seat and the latch receptacle on the interior side in relation to the seat.

Like this image I stole from the internet:

Also, your shoulder belts are mounted on the wrong sides L&R. The line above Schroth goes on the inside. It matters because the latches are angled to fit in the buckle in a certain direction that keeps tension on the belt uniform.

nwGTS - Outstanding feedback! Seat buckles flipped and shoulder belts now mounted L&R correct. Thanks for taking your time with the response. Have a great week my fellow Rennlister! :-)
