Default What fluid can that be?

Hello everyone
I started my 997gt3 (3.8) after 2 months storage in garage, drove it over weekend and parked it back. Last night i moved the car and saw this stain on the garage floor, it's dried out, now looks powdery and white.

Coolant leak? Any other ideas?

Looks like coolant to me.

Might want to check your coolant level to confirm.

Another thing i noted is unusual white smoke after starting the car (not the usual oil blue cloud), but this may be due to still low temperatures outside (above freezing though).

Coolant. You'll need to get it inspected, I would not drive it if one of the fittings is loose. Could be many different hoses, pipes, or fittings.

I agree it is likely coolant, it may be the coolant reservoir cap. When I first got my .2 RS my cap leaked and had to be replaced.

Default Might not be the car but the concrete ... EFFLORESCENCE

What is your concrete pad like and is it constantly exposed to the wet ground?

I once rented a storage unit near Seattle (rain, lots of rain) and the concrete floor produced this white residue as water leached up from the ground.
I see your floor is not coated.
See this for a more descriptive explanation

Agreed, This is why I asked if it was front or rear, I've seen cases where AC condensation leaks on the concrete and the evaporated water looks like this.

But given it was cold and the car had been stored... it could be as you've described, but I'm also looking for a coolant leak.

+1,

I learned the hard way too, having stored boxes of Univ books directly on the concrete. It wicked, molded and ruined a bunch of nice stuff. I know it all too well, clearly recall it looking just like above.
Look at the outer dark splotches and rings - telltale from prior intrusions

In my home garage I did the whole nasty acid prep, then Griot's Epoxy shop floor paint coating

PS - Regarding the white smoke, when did you last change plugs?
997.1 GT3 are every 12k miles according to my local dealer

OT: How do you like them? Getting ready to do my garage down the road in Issaquah and thought I was going to have to grind before doing the epoxy but wouldn't mind a simpler solution.
