You wouldn't put your whole portfolio in the hands of a 25 year old CEO.

Same goes for a CLK.

Nuts. Can't think of a better combo than an m3 daily and a GT3 in the garage.

You would think, but I had that exact combo last year and I found that you need a little more range. I had a .1 gt3 paired with a e90 m3 - and as sweet as the engine was in the m3, I found that having a practical car instead made me saner. I didn't have to worry about maintaining, cleaning, parking my "daily". Also, I found the m3 pointless as far as sporting was concerned vs the gt3. So then you are left with a an exacto knife (gt3) and needlenose pliers (m3). You need a hammer or at least an adjustable wrench.

Sell the m3 and get something practical. Not boring. Just with more usability.

Ive had my 997.2 GT3 for almost 3 years. Was using an Imola E39 M5 as my daily which I replaced with a Evosport Stage 3 CLK BS as my daily.

No BS but the GT3 getting less and less seat time.

CLK BS tuned and modded a different and friendly beast, call it your German muscle car. The GT3 is a precise weapon.

I guess living in an Asian metropolis, one of worst traffic situations in the world is the largest reason.

I love both! BS was also worth at least 135 k sticker when new without all these mods. Rarer than an RS as far as I know they only made 350.

YMMV to each his own, but to sell both your cars doesn't make sense. Do like me sell bimmer for BS!

Its bullet proof, bimmer and Pcar seems like tin can with the build, BS just as solid as my G wagon.

good luck and keep us posted!

Keep the GT3 and if you have to, sell the M3 for something more practical year round.

I own a RS and recently sold a CLK Black Series (listed it in this forum) for a 2016 M3. The black series is a blast - and in many ways more enjoyable than the M3. The engine is all consuming, and the brakes and suspension are up to the task - the transmission really hamstrings the experience. You will most likely never see another one on the road, however the complete driving experience is nowhere near what the GT3 provides.

Redmonkey, as you may recall I have spent my fair share of time in your local. I can see how a dot two GT3 may call a bit too much attention. However, a CLK BLACK???? I would not give up a GT3 for that! With that being said, if you were to consider an SL BLACK....now that would be a worthwhile trade. Not only that, it would blend in and bit more, even though it looks incredibly bad a$$. Only a few enthusiastic onlookers would realize what they are actually looking at. The rest would just see a two door wingless Merc.

We still laugh about that line. Seems like Sean Penn went Full Retard again recently....
OT - sorry.
