Yes, it has 2 piece control arms but when I brought it to Porsche the tech also checked and said there are eccentric adjusters a well in the front and they were maxed out.

My top mounts were in the OEM position, not rotated into the cup car position. I guess the next thing to do is to rotate the top mount and then shim the control arm to get about -2.5 to -2.7.

Gotcha, I was there first time and am in the 2:37's with the 996 which I think is slow. I need a better vMin in 8 and 19 for sure.

I generally drive at harris hill which is much tighter, you must run with lots of slip/rotation to be fast and it's medium wear on tires. I am faster there relatively to where I should be at 1:24.2. I get a lot less h/c at H2R.

my first and only time there a low 2:31 was my best using nittos. Definitely a lot more to get from there. A club racer for CO was there in a relatively stock 7.1 GT3 also on nittos. He got some 2:24's. Thats pretty quick on nittos.

2:24 in a .1 non RS on Nittos is crazy. I read some fast guys in .2 RS on Hoosiers were running 2:24

Yes, red. It was early 2014...the MVP event.

That was Chris Cervelli. He is eye watering quick and by far the quickest driver I've ever had a chance to ride with, really a magician behind the wheel. I've done some SPB endurance racing with him and it's amazing to see him eat up drives lap after lap. He has his own race shop in Denver and is behind the set up of all the fastest cars in our area. He does everything from basic suspension tuning to full Cup car set up and rebuilds. His approach to suspension tuning in these cars is very unorthodox but it produces some very very fast times. I thought my car was dialed in until he got a hold of it and completely revamped it from top to bottom. It took me a while to get comfortable in it as I had to basically relearn how to drive the car. In the end Chris's set up shaved 5 seconds on a 2 minute course on my car. He's coached basically all the successful Club racers in our area. I've received driving coaching from him over the years and his driving approach and lines are also very different from any other instructor I've had. Definitelly not your normal PCA instructor.

Ran 5 sessions in the dry today in white run group (instructors + advanced), tires now have nothing except 1 groove. Suspect they will cord at some time tomorrow. Started off with pressures too low, got to about 32 hot and was sliding. Upped the hot pressures to 34F 36R and felt pretty good.

Best lap was 2:31.5 some more room for improvement I think.
