Default Factory Radio Delete Tray Part #

Is it part number 987 553 671 00 ?

Does it include the little rubber mats inside?

Anything else I need when pulling out radio and filling in that hole?

On the 996 the full radio delete includes speaker grills without speakers attached for the front dash location as well. Not sure I that translates into the 997 or not.

Grab setup from suncoast. Unsure if shelf comes standard with the mats, but the suncoast setup does.

This bolts right in, remove radio, slide in shelf, replace trim parts and side parts. Done.

You'll be happy. My 4.0 has radio delete. Looks really good in these cars. I wouldn't worry about the little mat thing. If you want stuff to stay in there you need something else! Put my phone there once. Took me a while to find it.

Bumping old thread, so i bought the radio delete which has 3 tabs on each side, but it does not seem to attach/clip to anything. Am I missing something? Thanks everyone.

If I remember right it does not. It's held in place by the side pieces. It just slides in.

if it moves front to back you can add a dab of silicone or duct tape behind the rear lip
