Bakersfield isn't that bad. It is rural for sure. We just had dinner at a pretty good place downtown. Where the track is is a **** hole. No other way to describe it. Truck stop yes.

great day.
big sun, little cloud, some rain and a LOT OF OREOS.
small turn out but i think all had good fun.
those we were here to have fun pls get the words out bc if i come back next year, i want a full house so i dont have to shell out $6k loss.
so dont be surprised i FIND a few more GT3 in my warehouse for sale to cover the loss.

BIG THANKS to BBi again for sponsoring lunch!!!

also big shoutout to 24 chromium for being the CDI and spyerX for all his marketing efforts ;-)

now it's time for some Thai food.

Wtf I didn't know I had stay all night for sweets!!! I want a refund! All I got was freaking rain and traffic.

In all seriousness, was great meeting everyone and had a blast. Lots of fast MFrs...need more track time and a coach...will be there for the next Mooty day.

Hope to see everyone at the next one.

It was a great day overall. Took the 991 GT3 out for a few hot laps....oh man, the GT3 is insanely fast and I did a 1:59.1 with no harness and OEM pads/fluid. Even Mooty had fun in my PDK Cayman.

Dinner was very tasty, thanks for picking the place Lar. Mooty made sure that all of the dessert plates were cleaned off.

What a great day, huge shout out to Mooty & SP Motorsports. Massive amounts of track time today (about 200 miles for me!), come go as you please, lots of BS, a few great spins, no carnage. We got about 45 mins of some drizzle but track dried up fast as the sun came out. I was out there when one corner got wet and ABS'd right off the corner. LOL

Here are a pic taken by some of the SP crew. Hopefully they will send around some more, their pics are sweet.

Oh, and a video (I give up on AIM audio sorry it sounds like ***). we are running 1CW, which is about 5-6 secs slower than 13cw. Last time I was here with the 1cw config was 1 year ago, I was a little more green, did a blistering 2:17. Did a 2:05 today. I think USC did a 2:04 in his cayman. MDKim was flying at 2:04, and practicing his Tokyo drift in riverside at 90mph.

The 991 GT3 is a beast of a machine! Thanks to USC for letting me take a few laps.

And... thanks for Chromium and his restaurant picking skills! Barkersfield may be a bit back woods but there are some good eats here. Oh and that thread about Oreos. Not kidding. Watched a family pack get polished off.

Nice
Sounds like a typical day with the West Coast clan
Nice driving CW1 is what I drove last year, I love it, what is 13? Why you like that better?
