If Mooty allows Caymans then I'm sure he'll let 996 GT3s join in the fun too...

6gt3 welcome of course so are any other cars. it's about fun not about what you drive.

The post was spam and given speed district is a business if you want to advertise your events feel free to pay for a sponsor membership and do so. I know several drivers that drive with your group and it's fine, typically gets good feedback, but it's not a private open track day.

Big difference in a private 'track buddies' track day and an organized day. 60 cars is 3x the private day so of course it will be more expensive. 3 hours track time < 8 hours track time. Mooty doesn't make $ with these events. This is not a business.

trust me, it wasn't spam, i was trying to help to get a group of porsche people to the event. i'm not trying to hurt or take away from your guys track day, i didnt even know it was official until the post got deleted, i just looked at the first page. i already asked the mod how much it would be to sponsor but in my opinion, most people already have groups they run with, so it might be pointless to sponsor, i rather just keep doing what i do, (word of mouth)

and sidenote, i dont make money on my events either, almost every single event i take money out of my pocket, not that i give a crap, i just want a group that i can run with that is laid back.

/endrant

maybe i will come to your guys date also... waiting to get some wheels/tires for the cup kit!

please be sure to post your lap times after, dying to know how everyone else is doing!!

I'm going to bust out the R7s and shoot for 1:55 on 13CW. Even if we run 1CW, I'll just run 13CW.

c'mon out to play. bring the family, disney, universal, hollywood, 2 hrs down the road from this place.

i'm slow, 2:01 13cw. need to grow a pair after cotton corner through riverside, that's 2 secs at least that sequence, losing a sec through S section, and another 1/2 onto and exiting straight. guess what i get to work on next event?? :-)

car can do mid 1:50s on nitto i'm sure.
