The brave and those with large cans of bug spray do the motel 6 in buttonwillow. there are 2, get the "better" one, the one closer to the starbucks, not the one near mcdonalds.

Those with less resistance to bugs stay at the Holiday inn express or the marriott or the courtyard marriott (me) in bakersfield. Its about 30 mins drive in the AM.

That will work too! I've so many marriott points... each 2 days at my normal hotel in the bay area is a free night in Bakersfield :-)

The former Super 8 which is currently a Knights Inn(?) isn't too bad either. I prefer it to the Motel 6's or the Red Roach(Roof) Inn. Honestly though, the Best Western a couple exits prior is nicer and I tend to gravitate that way a lot. lol

I had a set of cup2s waiting for me at the dealership for 4 mos and they just used one to replace a flat for a customer with a warranty yesterday. they are going to try to source one from another dealership in the area, will know more tomorrow.

right now i have dunlops on but my fronts are pretty low on tread and there is no way they would survive the day.
