did you try brett at sonnen? i have been on the list with deposit since last nov when he delivered my gt3 - at that point i was #2 on his list; he may still have slots - in my experience if you want these newly released cars it is always worth getting on the list even if it seems long as people cancel last minute change of mind whatever

I believe that a lot of 991 GT3 owners will sell their GT3s or move to the GT4 for only one reason. This car is manual and afaik 991 GT3 RS won't be manual too. That makes the car more attractive and really a bargain for these that it's offers!

I don't know about 991 GT3 owners selling for the GT 4.I understand the new 3 is a total blast on the track and as you might imagine the PDK enhances the track experience. We'll have to see.

this just came to mind....
i think it's accurate.. very much so...

most GT3 owner will not sell for GT4

when you drive GT4 or cayman full bore on track, you will have fun, a lot of it. you wont be thinking much about GT3 until you come off track.

u may want to roll in bed with j. garner, but if you end up with s johanson, you may be disappointed but you prolly wont really care while rolling. you may want to re-assess afterwards..

so you can analayzeto death and live with the anticipation of fun or just get one, drive it and HAVE fun.

sorry, pre coffee, morning blab.

LOL

For me it's simple:
One car is a PIA/wallet and the other is easier to deal with. I'll take the easy one

Then again one is proven and other isn't so I'll let some others hit it and take sloppy seconds if it has potential

You got it wrong this time mooty IMO. The GT4 with a manual will be 100% more fun on the street than the GT3! And 50K extra in the bank to play with won't hurt either.

then I will wait for those used like new 991 GT3 with $20k-25K less from price tag to buy one.

Brett's Gt4 list is SO long he closed it as of just after the GT4 announcement ... I'm not in the market for one anyhow.

If I ended up in bed with either Jennifer or ScarJo I wouldn't care what car I was driving ...

Went by my dealer today ,now granted they aren't huge ,but they say the first run of the GT4 will be 100 cars. The second will be the same.
They have 12 buyers and think they will get 1 for sure maybe 2.
Is Porsche afraid of losing GT3 sales to the GT4?

Your dealer is probably misinformed. If not, they have some BIG problems on the assembly line! dde03dde03
