this just came to mind....
i think it's accurate.. very much so...
most GT3 owner will not sell for GT4
when you drive GT4 or cayman full bore on track, you will have fun, a lot of it. you wont be thinking much about GT3 until you come off track.
u may want to roll in bed with j. garner, but if you end up with s johanson, you may be disappointed but you prolly wont really care while rolling. you may want to re-assess afterwards..
so you can analayzeto death and live with the anticipation of fun or just get one, drive it and HAVE fun.
sorry, pre coffee, morning blab.
Agreed get GT4, keep GT3 and thank God you have both!
Still feeling a lot of love for what was my then dream car, still is in so many ways, I know that I would have sellers remorse pretty quickly if I let it go.
That being said, if the GT4 is as good as it appears to be, it may make that transition more palatable. Regardless, I'm not letting go of the GT3 until.... but then again, just might hang on to them both for awhile, lucky me...
Went by my dealer today ,now granted they aren't huge ,but they say the first run of the GT4 will be 100 cars. The second will be the same.
They have 12 buyers and think they will get 1 for sure maybe 2.
Is Porsche afraid of losing GT3 sales to the GT4?
Actually I think I am behind you on the list Mooty - I misspoke earlier spoke to Brett yesterday he says I am actually fourth.
But more importantly, I am spec-ing a blue car so would need to wait anyway as they are making/ delivering non metallic colors first (rear wing sourcing/painting issues)
No worries though - need to learn to drive the GT3 properly anyway, that will take some time...

john, I don't have garner and no johansson either....

amd come play once in a while
not fast like cup, but fun nevertheless.

lmao. I'm a purist. car first. girl is a distant second.
It's almost certain I will have my order for this car filled, though I'm left wondering, with room for only two toys… would I regret not filling my stable with something a bit more dated like an E30 M3 or 964 911?
Sadly I wasn't able to order a 997 GT3 to my specifications because I was too young and poor lol Now having the opportunity to play "build a car" with the GT4 is very exciting to me, never mind the Euro Delivery.
Anybody have any info on GT4 Euro delivery ?. I saw Cherryblock has it spec'd. My dealer thinks it will be tough to do because May and June Euro deliveries are "booked" and GT4 production rates are still unclear.
However, dealers hate Euro delivery because PCA charges them a fee and it comes straight out of their margin. I did ED a few years ago and loved the experience.
Getting arrested roadside in Europe has been a lifelong aspiration and the GT4 looks like the perfect instrument.

aha! very interesting - they try steer you away from it here too; may well be why
my car's build starts in 3 weeks ... yellow CS with yellow stitching .. delivery roughly late nov
saw my first two in the wild on Sunday. one was a white one getting onto 101 at University Ave in Palo Alto. and the other was up at Alice's and trying to hide out with some old school guys. only captured the yellow one, so guess white must be faster.
