We are honored to have received such a great review from writer Jethro Bovingdon in the most recent issue of GT Porsche. The DSC module was fitted to 997.2 GTS for the story. The car was tested on both track and street and exceeded expectations in both applications. If you'd like to pick up a copy for yourself and read the whole feature, it is the October 2015 issue. In the meantime, here's a little excerpt...
"So from cynic to convert in one afternoon, I was really impressed with TPC Racing's DSC system and the way it seemd to endow the GTS with an oiled smoothness on the road combined with greater body control, and an added pinch of agility and composure on the track.
And in other exciting news, development on the 991/981 platform is nearly complete! You can check out a video of our DSC-equipped GT4 at VIR here.
dsc is great stuff, had to go and
ordered sway bars for the 997 tt
the combo of sways from TPC, Cargraphic(H&R) coils and rear toe links by RSS transforms the car!

O. M. G.
I just installed my DSC today and I'm blown away. First impression: super-flat braking, comfortable in comfort and sport setting, flat thru turns, cool that it stays in comfort when I click my sport button for throttle mapping. All the above items are significant.
My setup: 997.1 C2S, Damptronics, RSS sways and droplinks, rear links and toe kit, and Wevo engine mounts.
Wow. Can't wait to try it on the track.
I've read that the new modules' firmware for 997s only has two settings (comfort, sport) instead of the former three (comfort, sport, track). Is this true? If so, is there any way to get a module with three settings? Either with the other features contained within the new firmware or via a flash to the old firmware?

AFIAK yes, I just replaced my V1 3-mode DSC with a V2 2-mode ... ask Tom he can send you my refurb!

I'm struggling to understand why anyone would want fewer modes. 3 is perfect. One for the street; one for spirited drives; another most aggressive setting for track/DEs.

Simple I find normal and sport mutually exclusive for road/track ... I don't really need an in between for the road... And I like that the 2-mode id not detectable by dealer mechanics since it uses the normal and sport indicators unit the Morse code 3 mode system
I just want to give high praise to Tom at TPC Racing. He was willing to spend time on the phone with me providing me with a good practical education on track/street suspension. He didn't try and sell me anything although I did order their DSC module. Tom reflects well on the TPC organization and if I lived anywhere close to them I'd have them work on my car. I hope the TPC owner reads this.
I just installed in the TPC DSC unit on my wife's 2014 Cayman S. Easy installation (working on a DIY) took about 60 minutes.
The whole car feels even more planted even with the cold road surface and winter tires. Definitely more controlled over bumps at high speeds, especially if only one tire or side of the car is affected. My wife is going to have some real fun at the next DE in April. Winter in the northeast leaves us with few options for fun drives until things thaw out in spring.

Can you tell the difference from v1 to v2? I still have the v1 module, thanks.
